Rashad & Confidence - Understand

Rashad and Confidence, two longtime students of the game, dropped their long-awaited debut album today, The Element of Surprise, through Ill Adrenaline Records. This up-and-coming MC/producer duo, hailing from Brooklyn and Philly respectively, merge to create a record with a timeless sound, reminiscent of hip-hop's golden era, with a fresh, updated feel. Without any guest appearances or other producers involved, the duo take it back to the days of Gang Starr and Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth. In promotion for the LP, the duo have made the album track "Understand" available as a complimentary download.
